Responsibility for the work of the Council is split between Full Council and five committees – Highways, Lighting & Transport Committee, Recreation & Burial Committee, Planning & Building Committee, Communications & Media Committee and Finance & General Purposes Committee.
Agendas are publicised five working days in advance of the meeting on social media, notice boards and on this website.
Further working groups can be created, as and when required, to discuss, manage and deliver specific projects.
All members of the public are welcome to attend any meeting of the Council and the agenda always allocates time at the beginning of the meeting for members of the public to speak and make comments.
