Rotherfield Millennium Green Trust
The Millennium Green is in the centre of Rotherfield Village. It was created in 1998 with support from the Millennium Commission, local councils and voluntary donations. It is run on behalf of the village by a charitable trust – the Rotherfield Millennium Green Trust. The trust does not receive regular funding from local government and relies upon voluntary help and donations from a Friends group.
The Green is about 5.2 ha (13 acres) of meadows and woodland, with a pond stream and several ancient hedgerows. You are welcome to wander anywhere but be aware that cattle may be grazing on some of the meadows during the summer.
