As well as monthly meetings of the full Parish Council, there are several committees who meet on a regular basis to deal with particular issues. These committees are:
Highways, Lighting and Transport Committee
This committee meets every other month and deals with all issues related to the highways in the parish, Street Lighting and transport issues with the parish as well as liaising with the Police over issues relevant to the parish.
Recreation and Burial Committee
This committee meets every other month and deals with all issues related to the cemetery and burial grounds in the parish. This committee also deals with all issues relating to recreation areas within the parish and maintenance of the same.
Planning and Building Committee
This committee meets every 3 weeks and considers planning applications in the parish and any other building and planning related issues.
Communications and Media Committee
This committee meets every other month and deals with all issues relating to communications with the parish including attending local events, updating the website and facebook, preparing the annual newsletter and any other communication issues that arise in the Council.
Finance and General Purposes Committee
This committee meets twice a year to decide the annual precept for the year and how it should be spent.
